Liz Tracey is a writer, editor and author native to NYC but currently located in the Midwest(ish).
As of this writing, she is a regular contributor to JSTOR Daily, writing the monthly Annotations column as well as articles on a range of topics.
Previous works include two books with St. Martin’s Press, “You Won Science: An Orphan Black Podcast”, a series of short horror film scripts, and the once popular website nerdslut.org. She was a regular columnist for the seminal magazine Outweek, and a Founding Editor of OUT.
During her time as a professional homosexual, she made frequent appearances on national broadcast and cable news, as well as “The Ricki Lake Show”.
Her first publication was an impassioned Letter to the Editor in The New York Times. She was 13 years old.
